Frequently Asked Questions
Can I pick which photos I receive?
I do ask all my clients to trust me and trust the process, so to put it bluntly, no you cannot pick. Do not stress, I promise I will not pick the photos where you are half blinking, holding your arm awkwardly, etc. However, I may offer a peek at what I have taken while we are shooting if time allows it!
When and how can I see my photos?
I send galleries out 1-2 weeks after the shoot, however, it is likely you will receive your photos sooner than later! At this time, I only offer a digital gallery sent straight to your phone/computer. For Apple users, I upload your photos to a shared album. If you do not have an Apple phone/account, I offer a Google drive folder sent to your email.
Do I get physical photo copies?
No. At this time I do not offer printing services but I can recommend Mpix.com for prints!
What if I have to cancel the shoot?
I am so happy to reschedule your shoot! However, when booking your shoot a $50 retainer is required, and is non-refundable, meaning I cannot return the $50 if you decide not to reschedule.
Do I have to sign the contract?
Yes, please! If there is something you’d like to modify about the contract before signing, just let me know and we can work it out together!
I don’t want my pictures posted to social media, is that okay?
I understand wanting to keep your intimate memories and photographs private. However, not having your permission to post your images could cost me less clients as it is a lost marketing opportunity. I offer a Privacy Agreement clause for a fee of $50.
I don’t know what to do with my hands!
I have an abundance of poses to put you in so that you don’t ever say this during one of our sessions!
Can you take pictures on my phone, too?
I can snap a picture, but as your photographer, I would like to focus my time and skills using high quality equipment that both you and I have invested in for the session. Please discourage your relatives or guests from asking me to take pictures with their phones. They are welcome to snap their own pics while I am shooting :)
I want a photo shoot, but I don’t know where to go or what to wear.
I have a permit to shoot at the beautiful Spring Lake regional Park, where there are an abundance of spots of beautiful foliage and lighting. I know some other spots, too if that is not what you’re looking for. I also offer suggestions on color schemes for clothing if you and your family are stumped on what to wear.
